Styling Tips for a Stunning Space
Flowers are the perfect finishing touch for any room, but knowing how to arrange them can make all the difference. Whether you’re new to styling with faux flowers or a seasoned pro, our styling tips will help you create beautiful arrangements that feel fresh, elegant, and uniquely yours.
Arranging your flowers
Your faux flower kit will arrive in a cardboard box ready for you to arrange. The stems may be bent at the bottom to allow them to fit in the box, simply straighten the stems before using.
To make your stems look more natural, use your thumb and forefinger to create a slight curve in the stems and branches. Spread the branches out, this will add movement, volume and a more organic look.
If the stem are to long for your vase simply bend the stems to adjust the height.
Alternatively, wire cutters available from hardware stores can be used to cut the stems. Cut the stems straight across so as not to expose the wire in the middle of the stem.
Consider the size of the opening of your vase, the larger the neck opening the more flowers and foliage you will need. There are vase dimensions given for each arrangement as a guide if you are using your own vase.
If you are changing up your look for the new season, you can store your faux flowers in the box that they came in. Store flowers in a dry dark place to keep them looking their best and lay them at either end of the box to make sure they don’t get crushed.
